I left the corporate world to raise and homeschool my children. This allowed me to volunteer at several not-for-profit organizations and pick up new skills useful to entrepreneurs.
For Boy Scouts, I was a Den Leader, Pack Leader, Summer Camp Counselor, Merit Badge Instructor. I did everything from planning trips to writing a curriculum for advancements.
For the swim team, I set up and ran the meet concession stand and was on the team board. At away meets, I was a USA Swimming Official, and I still officiate USA, High School, and College swim meets.

Greetings! I am Maryjo Griffin, owner of MJo’s Virtual Assistant Services. I offer support for course creation/training, research, editing/proofreading, and spreadsheet (ex: Excel)/database (ex: Access) development. I also support general small business tasks.
To tell you a little bit about my background, I spent many years working in financial services where I was a business analyst/data analyst. In that role I supported all of the skills described above by working with colleagues, clients, and software engineers to fully describe what was needed, and, yes, what should be excluded, from new software processing.
